Carrie L. Carroll was born in Summit, New Jersey in 1968. She graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. Carrie attended Widener University School of Law, graduating in the top of her class. At Widener, Carrie was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the recipient of numerous scholarship awards, including the Nancy and Howard Finkelman Trial Advocacy Scholarship and the Widener Faculty Scholarship. Prior to starting C&C Law along with her husband Jim in 2000, Carrie was associated with Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin of Harrisburg; Barley, Snyder, Senft & Cohen of Lancaster; and Peters & Wasilefski of Harrisburg where she focused her practice almost exclusively on workers’ compensation law. Carrie has written and lectured on workers' compensation and employment law issues throughout her professional career. Currently, Carrie continues to concentrate her practice in the area of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation law. Carrie is also the Managing Partner of C&C Law, responsible for overseeing the day to day business of running the firm as well as developing and implementing firm events and marketing. Carrie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Bradford County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Central Northeast Trial Lawyers Association. Carrie has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University, teaching Employment Law at the graduate level. Carrie is an avid runner and walker who can often be seen pushing her double jogging stroller through the streets of the Valley. Carrie has competed in local 5K races as well as the Runners’ World ½ Marathon. Carrie serves as an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Athens, where she is also a preschool Sunday School teacher.
